The first step in our sharpening process is to inspect your knives for any visible damage or defects. We check the blade's edge for chips, nicks, and other imperfections that may affect the sharpening process.
Next, we use a coarse-grit stone to remove any dullness or damage from the blade's edge. This step is crucial to achieving a sharp, polished edge.
After the pre-sharpening step, we use a fine-grit stone to hone the blade's edge to a razor-sharp finish. This step requires precision and skill to achieve the best possible result.
Once the blade's edge is honed to perfection, we use a leather strop to polish the edge and remove any remaining burrs or imperfections.
Before returning your knives to you, we inspect them again to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
